So grateful to have this refuge for animals in Delaware! There are still good people out there. Thank you for opening this place to the public and taking such good care of the animals. Note for visitors: it’s a good idea to wear long pants as there is a friendly vulture who likes pants and shoes and may get your ankle instead! Regardless, we had a great time!

Was such a great experience to take the kids to.
Loved all the free roaming chickens and geese.
Plus the vulture who just wanted a pant leg to nibble on.

This rescue petting zoo has a wide range of animals. Some animals are in enclosures and some are free roaming. I’ve gone with just my adult friends and a few times with kids and have had a blast every time. Average visit is about 2 hours and it is inexpensive. It’s a great place to visit.

3 Palms Zoo is a petting zoo full of rescued and abandoned animals. The people running it are doing great work and support from visitors helps them to be able to continue operating.

They have a donkey named Dominick, 2 llamas, a sheep, cows, goats, pigs, a skunk, rabbits, giant tortoises, lots of turtles, 2 prairie dogs, 2 alligators, a racoon, a coyote, foxes, 2 emus, 2 vultures, 2 pelicans, pigeons, chickens, turkeys, pheasants, peacocks, all types of geese, and some other types of birds.

They have seasonal events for Halloween, Christmas, Easter, and Christmas in July. Admission for the events is the same price as regular admission, which is only $6 a person, and they offer scoops of dry food for only $1 per scoop.

This is a great place to visit with kids or just on your own.

This is my favorite field trip for Kindergarten. It’s totally fenced in and safe so I feel comfortable letting my kids explore on their own. Very reasonable price and the owner is incredible and walks around telling the kids about the animals. We come back every year.

I just took my toddler here and she loved it! Quite a few different animals and all of them are very interactive. Lots of chickens roaming around freely as well. My toddler really loved feeding all of the animals. We’ll be back!

We love the 3 Palms Zoo, especially their Halloween and Christmas nights. Friendly staff and a good assortment of animals. Attending helps support the zoo as they have many rescue animals. It's definitely worth a visit.

I love this place so much! The owners are more then friendly and the animals are adorable. They are all resuced and taken well care of. My favorite is Rocky the sheep! This place would 100% be great for kids, or people like me who just like animals.
